Where do I fit in?

Often one of the hardest things to discover is where one fits in.  Whether you’re a fresh or seasoned believer of Jesus Christ, or if you are more of a skeptic regarding Christianity, we have a place for you!  We believe that you need to be surrounded by people that you can not only relate to but will help lead you in the right direction.  There is a place for you and it’s our mission help you find it.

Adult Small Groups

Circles are always better than rows.  We want to know what you believe, too!  Often, small groups give us a better chance for interaction and learning than larger groups. For that reason, Runge First Baptist Church has small bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve.  You can participate in the small group study, too!  We believe that once a person has Taken Root in the Lord, it’s now time to Grow in relationships.  There really is no better way to grow than to interact with other believers.  Contact our pastor to find the small group for you!

SFC Program

We begin training our youth from the time that they can understand about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We have an expanding program that demonstrates Christians love and service to children that takes place on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  This program helps children to know that they are loved.  Also, it teaches them to memorize scripture and to comprehend it.  God is certainly working through this program and we are thankful to get to work alongside Him.

Men’s Ministry

Runge First Baptist Church has men who love and follow the Lord. Our Men’s Ministry gives the men in our church family special times of interaction. Our Men’s Ministry has a primary mission to give times of Bible study, prayer, accountability and ways to serve our community to the men of our church. These groups provide refreshing discipleship opportunities for the men in the church.

Women’s Ministry

Runge First Baptist Church’s Women’s Ministry also gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide refreshing discipleship opportunities for the women in the church.

Married Parents / Couples Sunday School

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. Runge First Baptist Church gives married couples the opportunity to join six week-long marriage classes ranging on topics from Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, Marriage and Sex.

Bible Survey Sunday School

Once your children have left home, the fun has just begin. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-50 group of our church provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. Our Disciple-Maker mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.
Our goal and purpose for the nursery is to provide a safe environment for infants & toddlers to eat, sleep, and grow.  We feel this is best accomplished by not only watching the children but interacting with them.  We screen our workers with thorough background checks to ensure that our parents know that their children are in the safest hands possible.
